IPPBX started as a small project in April 2026 — two developers who were frustrated with the state of cloud PBX solutions. Most platforms were either locked into expensive monthly contracts, required complex hardware setups, or sent your voice recordings to third-party servers without your consent.
We wanted something different: a platform that is affordable, simple to deploy, and keeps your data on your own infrastructure. So we built it. The first working version took about a month — then we showed it to a few businesses, got feedback, and kept improving.
Today, IPPBX is serving a small but growing number of businesses. We are still early in our journey — learning every day, shipping updates weekly, and building the product our users actually need.
